If we can't find a DNS set up instructions for your specific hosting provider, the following steps should help you to make the necessary configurations.

  1. Sign in to the account where you manage your domain.

  2. Navigate to the DNS management page.

  3. Find a section called CNAME records.

  4. Create a new CNAME record for your subdomain. For example, if you want to use "subdomain.domain.com" as the domain for your landing pages, create the record for "subdomain". If you're using the root domain, create the record for "www" ("www.domain.com").

  5. For the Destination or Points to value, enter pages.way.live.

  6. Save your changes.

NOTE: If you're using the root domain, also add an A record to the root (either leave the record name field blank or enter @) pointing to our load balancer IP

DNS records can take up to days to propagate. Once it's ready, you can ensure your pages are published where you want by making sure your domain is "Active" in Way and your landing pages are accessible through your custom domain.

If you've followed these steps and are still experiencing difficulties with your custom domain, take a screenshot of your current DNS setup and contact us using the Support button inside Way.
